I graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2004. Afterwards I held various posts in hospital, where I gained experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Special needs and Children’s Dentistry. I became a specialist Orthodontist after completing a three years Masters in Orthodontics at Kings College Hospital and the Royal Surrey County Hospital. I then undertook a further 2 years training, at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ and Royal Alexandra Children’s hospital in Brighton, to become a consultant. In addition to working in private practice, I also work as an NHS consultant in orthodontic in East Surrey Hospital.
I have always enjoyed working with children and supporting them and their families through treatment, which is way I choose Orthodontics as a speciality. I have vast experience treating nervous and anxious children, and also different types of braces. I think it is very important to focus on what the patient hopes to achieve with braces. Apart from making sure that you are pleased with your smile when the braces ‘come off’, I strive to ensure that my patients’ journey through treatment is as comfortable as possible.
